ISO14001: 2015 EMS Internal Auditor Training Outline

Course Description:

ISO 14001:2015 EMS Internal Auditor Training is an activity-based course to teach an audit process while providing an in-depth understanding of the changes from ISO 14001:2004 to ISO 14001:2015.  Participants can expect to be fully engaged while learning to prepare, plan, conduct and report a process-based internal audit based on the new ISO 14001:2015 standard. 

Course Duration: 1.5 Day

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this module the trainee will be able to understand:

 ·        Define terms associated with an Environmental Management System (EMS)

·        Explain how ISO 14001:2015 is used to improve environmental performance, customer satisfaction and the bottom line

·        Describe the significant changes for the updated 2015 standard

·        Describe the impact of 2015 changes to your organization and the audit process

·        Prepare, plan, conduct and report an internal audit for the ISO 14001:2015 EMS

Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (Potential FMEA) Overview Outline

Course Description:

Potential FMEA 5th Edition is an 8-hour activity based course intended to teach the power and utility of this quality-planning tool. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of Potential FMEA in achieving robust capable designs and processes. Specifically, they will learn how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their Potential FMEA efforts, get the right people involved in the process of Potential FMEA, and get results.

Course Duration: 1 Day (8 Hour Days)

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this module the trainee will be able to understand:

  • Define terms associated with potential failure mode and effects analysis

  • Compare and contrast design and process FMEA’s

  • Explain the purpose, benefits and objectives of FMEA

  • Select cross-functional teams to develop FMEAs

  • Develop and complete a FMEA

  • Review, critique, and update existing FMEA’s

  • Manage FMEA follow-up and verification activities

  • Develop FMEA’s in alignment with AIAG/VDA FMEA reference manuals

Implementing Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) & Control Plans & Process Flows Outline

Course Description:

Implementing Process FMEA, Control Plans & Process flows is a 16-hour activity based course intended to teach this triad of quality planning tools. Specifically, as part of the implementation effort, they will learn how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their Process FMEA, control plans and process flows.

Course Duration: 2 Day (8 Hour Days)

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this module the trainee will be able to understand:

  • Define terms associated with potential failure mode and effects analysis, control plans and process flows

  • Compare and contrast design versus process

  • Explain the purpose, benefits and objectives of PFMEA’s control plans & process flows

  • Select cross-functional teams

  • Review, critique, and update existing PFMEA’s, control plans and process flows

  • Manage follow-up and verification activities􏰀

  • Develop a plan to implement FMEA’s, control plans and process flows in alignment with AIAG reference manuals
